HFA 2024 — Dr Tauben Averbuch and Dr Harriette Van Spall (McMaster University, Hamilton, CA) discuss the findings from the PACT-HF trial. In this analysis of PACT-HF, investigators looked at long term sex-specific clinical outcomes and healthcare resource utilisation following hospitalisation for heart failure at 5 years.
Findings shows that clinical outcomes and overall costs were similar between male and female patients, although the distribution of costs differed.
