The objective of the symposium is to educate on:
Recognise the clinical impact of iron deficiency in patients with heart failure. Evaluate the evidence base and implement best practice guidelines for the management of iron deficiency in chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. Assess knowledge gaps and review ongoing studies evaluating iron therapy in chronic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and acute heart failure.
